Case Study: Visual & Motion Design

Various Companies

As a motion designer, I’ve worked with various companies to craft multimedia presentations that enhance user engagement and storytelling. Motion graphics make messages easy to understand, visually captivating, and impactful.

Motion graphics, video, and multimedia presentations are my passion! I love telling compelling stories that engage audiences, evoke emotion, and create meaningful connections—because great storytelling has the power to inspire and transform. Plus, it’s just really cool!

As a User Experience Designer, I focus on the full picture—the product, the presentation, the services, the aesthetics, and the process—all from the user’s perspective. Motion design plays a key role in this by making messages clear, visually captivating, and easy to digest. Its flexibility also allows for continuous iteration, leading to even more compelling and impactful designs.

For any UX designer, motion graphics isn’t just an enhancement—it’s an essential tool for communication and engagement.

My Role

3-D Logo Designs

After Effects

I have used After Effects to create hero videos, design prototypes, and 3D motion graphics—a powerful tool for enhancing presentations, in-store displays, infographics, and websites. The storytelling possibilities are limitless, making content more engaging and visually compelling.

Storytelling

Beyond writing, I craft digital experiences that bring stories to life. Every video I create is designed to be engaging, entertaining, and visually compelling—capturing the viewer’s attention while effectively communicating the brand’s message.

Adobe Premiere Video Production

I produced video blogs, social media videos, and interactive presentations for in-store displays. Additionally, I managed social media posts and YouTube channels for various companies, leading campaigns to enhance brand visibility, create engaging ad creatives, and drive audience engagement and conversions.

KINTO SOCIAL MEDIA AD

This is not an official KINTO ad. I produced this as part of a school project to target a new vertical market – Iced coffee.

Project Management – A Different Kind of Visual Design

FireEye Exhibit
Project Manager FireEye Exhibit Property

With extensive experience managing six-figure trade show projects, I have honed a strong foundation in project management, client relations, and problem-solving. I’ve led initiatives from initial design concepts to final implementation, including custom kiosks, hanging signs, large format graphics, and end-to-end project coordination. This experience translates seamlessly into UX design through my focus on creating user-centered, engaging, and functional experiences that meet both business objectives and client needs.

Additionally, my project management expertise spans multiple methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, and Kanban, and I’ve worked with tools like Microsoft Teams and Trello to keep projects on track. My role in leading a project for school where we created a company to challenge an industry giant like GoDaddy has further refined my ability to think strategically, prioritize customer needs, and communicate design solutions effectively. I leveraged these skills to manage stakeholder expectations, establish clear deliverables, and ultimately deliver a product that was both user-centric and aligned with business goals.

In my UX design career, I aim to apply these strengths to create intuitive, accessible, and impactful digital experiences while leading teams through complex projects with efficiency and clarity.

Project Management – Technology Project

While at Arizona State I was the Project Manager to design a competitive company of our choice. This PowerPoint shares my team’s concept to compete with Go Daddy with a more transparent customer-centric solution.

Public Speaking and Presentations

I have created and delivered PowerPoint presentations for large audiences, including fundraising campaigns that have successfully raised over $1,000,000 for schools and sports teams.

In-Design Interactive Design

Warning – This is a large file. This was one of my first design projects. I used In-Design to catalog every lighting product and added specification sheets for each lighting product to make it easier for Electricians to find in-stock lighting.

NF-Themed Match Game

As an avid fan of NF, I created a web-based “Match Game” that blends interactive gameplay with the artist’s powerful music. Designed using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, this game not only offers a fun challenge but also features embedded NF songs for an immersive experience. The game is a great way for fans to enjoy his music while engaging in a nostalgic and entertaining matching puzzle.
