I was a software engineer major.
One day I attended a User Experience Design conference.
I learned that UX Design was used to reduce the fear of children during MRI exams.
The top image shows a standard MRI machine, and the bottom image shows one modified to look like a pirate ship.
The change in design results in children being less scared of this experience and reduces the need for anesthesia.
This all happened because of UX Design. I want to do this!
